Me
Venezuelan/Japanese-American dance artist from northern Kentucky.
She is expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee May 2025. At the Conservatory, she has performed works by Laila J. Franklin, Daniel Pelzig, Jennifer Archibald, and Norbert De La Cruz. Most recently she premiered in Magali Johnston-Viens Eel Ballet for the Hot Dance Festival at Dixon Place in New York City. A company member of Jo-Me Dance Theater, she has performed work by Joe Gonzalez and Naoko Brown, touring for their 2023-24 season.
She is currently developing her own artistic voice through exploring various somatic practices in relation to sustainable movement development. Additionally, she is interested in improvisation, collaboration, and multidisciplinary forms to approach process and performance.
Additional areas of interests include fashion styling, writing and sociological studies.
